Hamlet is an incredibly smart Kunekune pig! He was relinquished to ECPR in October 2021, Hamlet had been well taken care of, and had no health issues, though he had not spent time around other pigs instead in pasture with horses and goats. Arriving at the Sanctuary, Hamlet quickly integrated with our pigs, becoming the top pig in our group. He’s the protector of our group, and he has helped to build confidence in the others, especially in Wilbur. Hamlet is a typical pig always curious as to what is going on around him, and really enjoying being around people. You’ll often find him relaxing in the pool in the Summer, or snuggled up with our other pigs.
