Hershey joined the Sanctuary group from a California auction and is a very particular horse, He would much prefer to spend his day in his stall instead of being outside, especially if the weather is wet! Despite his preference for a sedentary lifestyle, you will see Hershey running around! If the weather is nice, Elton is probably annoying him, or if mares are working down in the arena, this horse lets his persona slip and you’ll see him for the deeply caring, and fun-loving horse he really is. If you visit when it’s raining, don’t listen to him, he really is not melting, trust us.
