Honey was from an auction in Sunnyside California, originally purchased by a kill buyer and loaded up ready to head to Canada for slaughter. At the last moment the Rescue was able to purchase her from the dealer and take her home to the Sanctuary. Now, you’ll recognize Honey by her absolutely gorgeous mane, and friendly nicker. Her friendly easy-going demeanor makes her a delight, and there’s nothing she loves more than having her mane brushed out and braided. You’ll see her and best friend Karma hanging out with our misfits’ groups, or the pigs. And if they’re not doing that then they’ll be soaking up the sun in style
