Sky and Kachina are the Sanctuaries' longest residents. He was the first horse rescued by our founder, and he always knows when she is on the property. A California Rescue, Riverbottom Rescue informed us of a neglectful situation and partnering with them and his owner, Sky was relinquished to us. Bringing him to his new forever home carrying promises and happiness and becoming a founding equine of the Sanctuary Program. Sky’s laid back, inquisitive nature always creates a fun environment bringing smiles to everyone around him. He’s known to rest his head on your shoulder should the opportunity arise. Sky is currently working with our top handlers on learning really good manners and engaging that big brain of his!
